PURPOSE: A channel normalizing device and a method thereof are provided to implement real time recognition by performing channel normalization without an average value of the whole section. CONSTITUTION: A feature vector extracting unit(110) extracts a feature vector of each frame for an input voice. A feature vector converting unit(120) converts the feature vector of frames by using a trained linear conversion matrix. A channel normalization unit(130) performs channel normalization for voice recognition based on the converted feature vector.
