The present invention relates to an acryl-modified unsaturated polyester resin composition for injection and a manufacturing method thereof and, more particularly, to an acryl-modified unsaturated polyester resin composition for injection and a manufacturing method thereof wherein unsaturated polyester resin is manufactured by the polycondensation reaction of neopentyl glycol (NPG), dipropylene glycol (DPG), isopropyl alcohol (IPA), maleic anhydride, and methyl methacrylate, which is a modifier. The unsaturated polyester resin can be used to manufacture a high-solid product as the unsaturated polyester resin has doubled or tripled decrease in viscosity according to the content of a styrene monomer, which is a diluent, compared with existing polyester resin. In addition, the unsaturated polyester resin has improved gloss and weather resistance. The acryl-modified unsaturated polyester resin composition for injection according to the present invention comprises: 20 to 40 parts by weight of neopentyl glycol (NPG); 0.1 to 30 parts by weight of dipropylene glycol (DPG); 0.1 to 30 parts by weight of isopropyl alcohol (IPA); 10 to 40 parts by weight of maleic anhydride; 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of methyl methacrylate, which is a modifier; 30 to 50 parts by weight of a styrene monomer diluent; 0.1 part by weight of a polymerization initiator; and 0.1 to 1 part by weight of a polymerization inhibitor. |
