<p>PURPOSE: A heat pump system for vehicles is provided to perform the defrosting control supplying a part of refrigerant supplied to a heat supply member along a first bypass line to an evaporator by opening a branch line when the frosting of an outdoor heat exchanger is recognized in a heat pump mode. CONSTITUTION: A heat pump system for vehicles comprises a first bypass line (R1), a heat supply member (180), a branch line (R4), and a control unit. The first bypass line allows the refrigerant circulating in a refrigerant circulation line (R) to selectively bypass a first expansion member (140) and an evaporator (160). The heat supply member supplies the heat to the refrigerant flowing along the first bypass line. The branch line connects the first bypass line of an entrance of the heat supply member and the refrigerant circulation line of an entrance of the evaporator. In case a frost recognizing member recognizes the frosting of an outdoor heat exchanger (130) in a heat pump mode where the refrigerant circulating in the refrigerant circulation line circulates the outdoor heat exchanger and the heat supply member of the first bypass line, the control unit opens a branch line (R4) through an opening/closing valve (195) and performs the defrosting control supplying a part of the refrigerant flowing in the heat supply member to the evaporator.
