The present invention relates to a board assembly for a chair and a chair with the same. The board assembly includes one or a pair of fixing members mounted on a lower portion of a seat base of the chair, having a hollow portion of which at least one side is open, and fixed in a direction crossing both sides of the seat base, at a distance from each other if provided in pairs; frames positioned at both sides of the seat base and having a lower portion inserted into the hollow portion through an open cross section of the fixing member, a middle portion upwardly extending from the lower portion, and an upper portion positioned at a given height and bent from the middle portion; and a board which is installed on one of the frames so that one side is axially rotated and the other side is supported by the other frame. As the board assembly is mounted on a chair, a user can place a book, a portable electronic device such as a smartphone or a tablet, or a drink cup on the board for convenient use by rotating the board installed on one of the frames to be placed on the other frame. |
