A dish washer of the present invention comprises a cabinet forming the exterior; a washing tub which is arranged in the cabinet and where dishes are washed; a sump chamber which is provided in the lower part of the tub and contains water; a water draining pump assembly connected to a water draining passage inside a chamber discharging unit provided in one side of the sump chamber in order to pump and drain the water in the sump chamber; and a noise reducing unit located on the water draining passage to prevent bubbles in the water passing the water draining passage. Therefore, noise caused by two-phase movement can be reduced by decreasing or eliminating the bubbles in the surface of the water.
