PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain piping structure and a horizontal drain pipe joint by which a status inside a drain pipe can be visually recognized from the outside thereof, the necessity of cleaning work can be easily determined without removing a cover, and the efficiency of control of maintenance of the drain pipe can be improved.SOLUTION: A drain piping structure 10 comprises a horizontal drain pipe joint 12 and is applied to a drain pipe 14 disposed in an underfloor space 100 of a building such as a condominium. The horizontal drain pipe joint 12 has a joint body 20 and is disposed in a horizontal drain pipe section of any of a position immediately after a curved section 54, a position immediately after a junction part, the curved section 54, and the junction part. The joint body 20 has a cleaning hole 28 opening upward and is formed of a transparent material such as polyvinyl chloride. A cover 30 is detachably provided on the cleaning hole 28. |
