PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood glucose meter having both high functionality and simplicity that can provide many functions with a minimum number of operation buttons by assigning a small number of operation buttons with different functions in accordance with operating conditions.SOLUTION: A blood glucose meter 101 is provided with three operation buttons 104 that are an upper button 105, a middle button 106, and a lower button 107. The upper button 105 is assigned with a function for operating an after-meal flag indicating whether a measured blood glucose level to be recorded in a blood glucose level table 306 has been measured after a meal or not, at the time of a measurement mode for measuring blood glucose levels. On the other hand, at the time of a content mode for referring to blood glucose levels recorded in the blood glucose level table 306, the upper button 105 is assigned with a function for setting an after-meal alarm for informing a patient that an after-meal blood glucose measurement time has been reached. The middle button 106 is assigned with a power OFF function at both times of the measurement mode and the content mode. |
