PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus with a reading apparatus, which can be made compact in a vertical direction.SOLUTION: A printer 1 includes: an image forming unit 4 for forming an image on a sheet P; a paper discharge tray 8 where the sheet P with the image formed by the image forming unit 4 is stacked; a paper discharge roller 42 for discharging the sheet P with the image formed by the image forming unit 4 to the paper discharge tray 8; a reading part 49 for reading an image of a document D; and a reading unit 50 having an inversion roller 55 which inverts the direction of conveying the document D conveyed toward the reading part 49. The reading unit 50 is arranged vertically below the paper discharge tray 8, and on the downstream side of the paper discharge roller 42 in a discharge direction X of the sheet P discharged from the paper discharge roller 42. |
