The flat screen television set (1) has an image area (15) forming a visual side, and a housing (17), in which a loudspeaker (19) is arranged. A sound-conducting element (24) is provided, which is arranged on the flat screen, particularly on the housing of the flat screen such that the sound waves are guided or deflected in a defined direction by the sound conducting element. The sound-conducting element is made of metal, wood, plastic or cardboard or paper-like material. An independent claim is included for an arrangement of a flat screen, particularly flat-screen television set, on a support body, particularly on a vertical wall.
