<p>The present invention relates to a non-wing orthodontic bracket, and more specifically to a non-wing orthodontic bracket allowing a ligation line, which fixes an arch wire inserted in the bracket, and such others to be ligated to a tube, a ring, a hook or such others, the emphasis of the present invention being providing a non-wing orthodontic bracket in which the orthodontic bracket is miniaturized; a base which attaches to a tooth and a body which connects to the base are formed so as to have no gap therebeween; one side of the body is open so as to allow a wire to be inserted therein; and the body or the base is provided with a tube, a ring, a hook or such others for wire ligation. To that end, the present invention: does not form wings on the bracket as were previously, and thus gaps between the wings and the base are not introduced, thereby improving the oral hygienic aspect; has increased aesthetics due to the miniaturized size thereof; reduces the occlusal interference between teeth due to the miniaturization, which in turn minimizes the variation of soft tissue within the oral cavity; allows an accurate attachment to a rotated tooth due to the miniaturization; and allows ligation, when fixing wires, by means of a tube, a ring, a hook or such others on the miniaturized bracket, thereby improving the aesthetic, functional and oral hygienic aspects thereof.</p> |
