The present invention relates to a control method of an air conditioning (A/C) for a car, wherein the control method is capable of transmitting expected torque, which is to be generated in the A/C, to an engine management system after calculating the expected torque, thereby applying the expected torque in the case of engine output control. According to the present invention, the control method of the A/C for a car comprises a step (a) of comparing and estimating a refrigerant pressure value in a compressor before the input of the OFF signal of the A/C and the present refrigerant pressure value in the compressor after the OFF signal is input; and a step (b) of transmitting the expected torque after determining the expected torque depending on the estimating result of step (a).
