The invention relates to a method and a device for forming a friction clutch in a clutch bell of a drive train of a motor vehicle by mounting a clutch pressure plate on a counterpressure plate containing a housing, a contact pressure plate received non-rotatably on the housing and axially displaceable with respect to the housing against the action of a disc spring supported by the housing, wherein in the mounted state of the clutch pressure plate axial travel of the contact pressure plate is limited by the counterpressure plate and during mounting a device acts axially on the disc springs for counterforce-free mounting of the housing. In order to be able to fix the housing to the counterpressure plate without distortion, the contact pressure plate is centred on the counterpressure plate by means of an interposed clutch disc, the device is received centred with respect to the clutch disc at threaded seats of the clutch bell, the disc springs are preloaded at disc spring tongues by means of the device, and the housing is screwed to the counterpressure plate free from counterforce. |
