PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize sheet feeding in an air suction type sheet feeder at low cost.SOLUTION: A sheet feeder of a certain aspect includes: a sheet feeding table on which a sheet is loaded; an air discharge port that is opened at sheet feeding direction front of a sheet bundle loaded on the sheet feeding table and discharges air toward a front end surface upper part of the sheet bundle to separate the sheets from each other; and a feeding mechanism for feeding a top level sheet of the separated sheet. As the air discharge port, a first air discharge port 82 and a second air discharge port 84 provided below the first air discharge port 82 are included. A distance between upper and lower ends of the first air discharge port 82 and a distance between upper and lower ends of the second air discharge port 84 are both configured to be smaller than a distance between the lower end of the first air discharge port 82 and the upper end of the second air discharge port 84. |
