PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front vehicle-body structure of a vehicle, that can achieve detachment of a sub-frame rear end from the vehicle at the time of a head-on collision even when a fragile part extending in a vehicle width direction cannot be formed, while securing an energy absorption amount at the time of the head-on collision by using a front side frame and an extension part of the sub-frame.SOLUTION: An extension part 44 is constructed so that a cross section of a direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of its front end and a cross section of a direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of a rear end are overlapped at least partially in a vertical direction, and on at least an upper surface of a sub-frame 4, a low-rigidity part 47 having a rigidity that is lower than other sites is formed at a location adjacent to a fastening part 45 in a vehicle width direction. On the sub-frame 4, a load transmitting part (a rear part of a front-rear member 41) is provided to transmit a collision load that is transmitted along the extension part 44 from a vehicle front side to a sub-frame 4 rear end to the low-rigidity part 47 and an off-set location in the vehicle width direction. |
