<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic device and an ultrasonic image generation method capable of inhibiting an overshoot or undershoot occurring in an ultrasonic image from occurring during edge enhancement processing of the ultrasonic image.SOLUTION: An expansion radius ra and a contraction radius rb are stored as different values in an internal memory 18, an expansion processing section 16 performs expansion processing for ultrasonic image data on the basis of the expansion radius ra to generate expanded image data, a contraction processing section 17 performs contraction processing for the ultrasonic image data on the basis of the contraction radius rb to generate contracted image data, a difference processing section 19 generates difference image data on the basis of the expanded image data and the contracted image data, an edge enhancement section 20 generates edge enhanced image data on the basis of the ultrasonic image data and the difference image data, and an ultrasonic image on the basis of the edge enhanced image data is displayed in an image display section 14.</p> |
