PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component analyzer which achieves its miniaturization due to unnecessity of arrangement of an enclosed space. ! SOLUTION: A component analyzer 1 comprises: a housing 10 having a placement part 11 on which a food product 100 (inspection object) is placed; a spectroscopic analyzer 20 which applies detection light to the food product 100 so as to receive reflected light reflected by the food product 100; and a component analyzing section 50 analyzing components of the food product 100 on the basis of the reflected light.
