A welding system (10) includes a welding power supply (20). The welding power supply (20) includes circuitry configured to produce power for a welding operation. The welding power supply (20) also includes a compartment (32) interior to the welding power supply and configured to hold one or more welding electrodes (16). In addition, the welding power supply may include a covering (52) configured to be removably disposed in an opening of the compartment to allow access to the welding electrodes (16) in the compartment (32).
