A cleansing bar comprising a) at least one member chosen from clay and talc, wherein a total amount of clay and talc is present in an amount that is greater than any other material in the cleansing bar, b) at least one cleanser chosen from soap and surfactant, and c) a binder present in an amount to structure the cleansing bar into a bar.
