PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device, control method thereof, and program capable of flexibly controlling necessity or non-necessity of authentication when a user performs a manipulation relevant to any of various features of the image formation device.SOLUTION: In a situation in which a user performs a manipulation relevant to any of various features which an image formation device can execute, and the image formation device 1000 is operated in a feature-by-feature authentication mode in which whether authentication is needed for a feature is determined for each of the various features, when a user instructs to perform a manipulation relevant to a secure print job which is a printing job to be executed using a secure print feature, whether the authentication is designated not to be needed for the manipulation relevant to the secure print job is decided. If the authentication is designated not to be needed for the manipulation relevant to the secure print job, the authentication is not performed but the manipulation relevant to the secure print job is permitted. |
