PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of detecting and transmitting process control data during and/or before printing process when producing a print matter with a printing machine.SOLUTION: Data are detected at least on the basis of identification marks relating to at least one printing matter. The data obtained from the identification marks is transmitted or delivered to a processing machine following the printing process. In the printing process, at least one redundant examination relating to determination of data associated with a predetermined retreatment of the printed matter in an integrated printing process and/or at least one subsequent processing machine is continuously preformed.
