摘要 The invention relates to methods and devices for the combustion of gaseous or atomized liquid fuel during gas or droplet detonation and can be used in various technological devices and energy installations which operate by means of pulse detonation combustion. Proposed is a method for initiating detonation in a tube containing a combustible mixture, which involves accelerating a turbulent flame front and amplifying the formed shock wave by means of positioning, in the tube, a set of obstacles/turbulators having special shapes and positions; also proposed are devices (variants) for implementing said method. The invention provides an optimal balance between the flame front acceleration rate and the shock wave amplification rate, thus permitting a decrease in the pre-detonation distance and the time to achieve detonation and allowing the use of short tubes for initiating detonation which have a near-critical detonation propagation diameter.
