PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable electrochromic window.SOLUTION: An electrochromic window includes: an architectural glass substrate 102 and a laminate 120 provided on the architectural glass substrate. The laminate has a (i) an electrochromic layer 106 of tungsten oxide, (ii) a lithium ion conductive layer 108 of a solid and inorganic material, and (iii) a counter electrode layer 110 of nickel tungsten oxide. The ion conductive layer 108 separates the electrochromic layer 106 and the counter electrode layer 110. Regarding the electrochromic window, in any part of an electrochromic active area, the total number of visible defects per square centimeter is less than 0.045. |
