PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film sample fixing method and fixing holder capable of achieving high accuracy and repetitive reproducibility even if an analyzing object is made of a relatively soft material such as a film or an organic material disposed on it, to provide a film characteristic analyzing method using them.SOLUTION: In the film sample fixing method and film sample fixing holder 3a, the position of a film sample part that exists outside a bent part 1a and includes an analyzing object part of the film characteristic is fixed on a reference surface for analysis by the tensile force of the film itself caused by bending the film sample 1. A film characteristic analyzing method using the fixing method and fixing holder is provided.
