PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner in which a suction force hardly lowers and exhaust odor is not annoying.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner includes: an electric blower disposed in a body; and a dust collection container for collecting and accumulating dust contained in the air sucked by the electric blower. The dust collection container is configured by: a dust collection case having a suction port and a dust collection part for accumulating dust and in which a surface facing the suction port is open; a dust separation part for separating the air containing dust into dust and the air excluding the dust; and a lid body provided in the dust collection case in a rotatable manner and blocking the opening of the dust collection case. A plurality of openings communicating with the dust collection part are provided in the dust separation part.
