PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for plant cultivation capable of allowing a sufficient amount of amino acid to be absorbed efficiently and stably from plant roots without causing an oxygen-deficient state of roots or propagation of bacteria which could cause root rot or the like, by which growth of plants can be significantly promoted continuously over a long period of time.SOLUTION: A system for plant cultivation includes: a non-porous hydrophilic film on which plants are cultivated; aseptic amino acid nutrient liquid which is obtained by aseptically dissolving at least one type of amino acid, which promotes growth of plants, into water and arranged so as to contact the bottom surface of the non-porous hydrophilic film; and amino acid nutrient liquid holding means for aseptically holding the amino acid nutrient liquid under the non-porous hydrophilic film. |
