PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball material that can provide a golf ball with both excellent resilience and excellent durability at high levels, and a golf ball manufactured using the golf ball material.SOLUTION: The golf ball material contains (a) a polyester elastomer, (b) a resin composition comprising a specific thermoplastic resin as a base material, and (c) a compatibilizer, in a specific proportion.
