<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance operability.SOLUTION: A through-image representing an imaging scene captured by means of an imager 16 is displayed on an LCD monitor 38 in parallel with processing of the imager 16. A thumbnail image based on the image data contained in a desired image file in a recording medium 44 is displayed on the LCD monitor 38 in parallel with the through-image. A partial image representing a face corresponding to the face of a person appearing in the imaging scene is searched for from image data that is the basis of the thumbnail image displayed. Display mode of the thumbnail image is controlled so that the partial image thus searched for is magnified.</p> |
