The grinding element has a base body (10) comprising a base surface (14) that is arranged parallel to another base surface (12) of the base body. The former base surface comprises small area as that of the latter base surface. The former base surface comprises a partially concave curved side edge (16) and a partially convex curved side edge (18), which form an abrasion edge (20). The former base surface is formed in a partially crescent-shaped manner. The abrasion edge is arranged at an abrasion angle (22), which is equal to 90 degrees.
