PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a better diagnostic assay and therapy for a cancer patient.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a composition and a method in the oncologic field. The present invention provides a biomolecule perturbing functional signal transduction via an LGR protein, and in an aspect, a molecule inhibiting interaction between R-spongin (RSPO) protein with LGR protein such as LGR5. In an aspect, the biomolecule is an antibody. For example, in an aspect, the biomolecule can be an antibody specifically bonding at least one human RSPO protein or an antibody specifically bonding an extracellular domain of at least one human LGR protein. |
