PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network printer which speeds up printing processing of PDL data while suppressing costs of RIP.SOLUTION: A network printer is connected to a plurality of information terminals and includes: a first acquisition section for acquiring PDL data; rasterizing processing section which can generate a raster image by performing rasterizing processing of the acquired PDL data; a search section for searching for a processable terminal which can perform rasterizing processing among the plurality of information terminals; a second acquisition section for acquiring a first raster image obtained by having the information terminal perform rasterizing processing when there is a processable terminal; a processing control section for generating a second raster image by having the rasterizing processing section perform rasterizing processing when there is no processable terminal; and a printing section which performs printing by using either the first raster image or the second raster image. |
