<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damaged wound healing composition and therapy.SOLUTION: A method and composition comprising a combination and use of a first anti-connexin agent and a second anti-connexin agent, for example, one or more anti-connexin polynucleotide and one or more anti-connexin peptide or anti-connexin peptidomimetic agent are provided for therapeutic use comprising use for facilitation and/or improvement in wound and wound healing and/or tissue repairing. The present invention encompasses a pharmaceutical composition comprising (a) an anti-connexin peptide or an anti-connexin peptidomimetic agent and (b) a polynucleotide of an antisense to mRNA of connexin protein.</p> |
