PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in a mass spectrometer connected to a sample liquid feed section for grasping a sample with air bubbles and feeding it, when the sample is ionized, the air bubbles mix to un-stabilize a signal, and the un-stabilization of the signal reduces the measurement accuracy required by quantitative measurement, and the reduction is remarkable specifically in a detection lower limit region.SOLUTION: The mass spectrometer includes: a liquid feed pipe as a pipe for conveying a sample from a sample liquid feed section in an ion source section; a deaerating/liquid storage section for removing air bubbles; a spray section for ionizing the sample; and a high-voltage power supply section for applying a high voltage to the spray section. After removal of the air bubbles, a taylor cone is formed by a solvent solution, and the sample is ionized. |
