PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a situation where injection characteristics of injectors are changed in the middle of fuel injection.SOLUTION: A fuel injection control system 1 includes: an ECU 2 that outputs an injection request indicating fuel injection start timing and injection time of each of injectors 101-108 installed in a plurality of cylinders #1-#8 to inject fuel to the cylinders, respectively and that transmits variable data for setting injection characteristics; and an EDU 3 that operates the injectors 101-108 in accordance with the injection request and the variable data. In the ECU 2, injection intervals between the cylinder #1 (#7, #4, #6) and the cylinder #7 (#4, #6, #1) in a first system and between the cylinder #2 (#3, #5, #8) and the cylinder #3 (#5, #8, #2) in a second system are measured, and when time necessary to transmit the variable data to the EDU 3 is longer than the injection interval, transmission of the variable data is prohibited. |
