PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction in contrast between two pixels, and to prevent occurrence of reverse tilt domain.SOLUTION: A correction pixel selection unit 32 detects a risk boundary which is located between a first pixel and a second pixel adjacent to the first pixel of pixels 111 arranged in a first and second directions, and having an application voltage difference between the first and second pixels equal to or higher than a threshold. A correction amount calculation unit 33 and a correction amount addition unit 34 correct, in arrangement directions of the first and second pixels in the first and second directions, a voltage to be applied to at least one of a third pixel located on the same side as the first pixel when viewed from the risk boundary and a fourth pixel located on the same side as the second pixel when viewed from the risk boundary in the direction, so as to increase at least one of a lateral electric field between the first and third pixels and a lateral electric field between the second and fourth pixels.
