PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner capable of enhancing mixing action of combustion air with a fuel. ! SOLUTION: The burner includes a fuel nozzle 3 for spraying a fuel and an air nozzle 15 which is arranged in a position surrounding a tip part of the fuel nozzle 3 and sprays combustion air. Projections 25 are formed on the tip part of the air nozzle 15 at an equal interval in a peripheral direction of the air nozzle 15. Each projection 25 is provided in such a manner that it projects to the tip side of the air nozzle 15 and more tilts to the diameter-direction inside of the air nozzle 15 as the projection 25 reaches its tip.
