<p>A broadcast receiver pertaining to one embodiment of the present invention records, in a storage device, a program received via a broadcast signal, the broadcast receiver being provided with: a receiving unit for receiving the broadcast signal; an ordinary recording unit for recording, in the storage device, a program receive d via the broadcast signal as an ordinarily recorded program according to input; an automatic recording unit for recording, in the storage device, a program corresponding to preset automatic recording conditions among programs received via the broadcast signal as an automatically recorded program; and an automatic recording control unit for limiting a capacity used for the recording of the automatically recorded program by percentage relative to a total capacity of the recording device.</p> |
