The present invention relates to a constant-power supply apparatus and a control method used for outputting constant power so that power supplied for a load remains in a preset power range. The constant-power supply apparatus comprises a drive unit, a voltage detection unit and a feedback control unit. The drive unit receives electric energy of a power supply and outputs a working voltage and a working current for the load. The voltage detection unit detects a voltage value of the working voltage. The feedback control unit is preset with at least two different reference voltage values. A voltage segment is formed between the two reference voltage values. The feedback control unit outputs a current control signal to the drive unit according to the detected voltage value of the working voltage and a slope parameter of the voltage segment so as to control a current value of the working current and enable the power supplied for the load to remain in the preset power range.
