The present invention relates to a method of preparing a cotton wool using a natural fiber and a cotton wool prepared by the method comprising an opening step, a mixing step, a carding step, a folding step, and a punching step. Impurities are removed from a natural fiber and a synthetic fiber and then the natural fiber and the synthetic fiber are mixed with each other in the opening step. The natural fiber and the synthetic fiber experiencing the opening step are mixed to each other in spiral motion in the mixing step. The natural fiber and the synthetic fiber experiencing the mixing step are ginned to prepare a fiber sheet in the carding step. The fiber sheet is folded in a predetermined width to be continuously connected in the folding step. The fiber sheet experiencing the folding step is needle-punched in the punching step. According to the present invention, there is an effect for providing a method of preparing a cotton wool using a natural fiber and a cotton wool prepared thereby, wherein the cotton wool has high processability and shape stability as well as excellent thermokeeping and air permeability without using a low melting fiber (LMF). |
