<p>Provided is a livestock nipple pack or the like having high membrane formation force, excellent elasticity, great adhesion relative to nipple surface, no over-curing, little deformation due to drying, the ability to easily peel off after use, and mechanical strength sufficient to withstand impacts and the like that occur after pack installation when a dairy cow or the like lies down to rest or during intense movement; particularly a nipple pack or the like in which a water-triturated product forms a gel product having excellent mechanical strength even when the water-triturated product has a high water content and low viscosity with excellent coverage of a livestock nipple; elasticity is not readily lost due to drying; and the high mechanical strength is well preserved. A livestock nipple pack composition containing a polysaccharide polyelectrolyte, a gelling reaction agent, and a poorly water-soluble solvent as main components; a nipple pack coating resin container for coating the livestock nipple pack composition and a gel product of the livestock nipple pack composition, or a livestock composite nipple pack kit configured of a resin curing material for forming the nipple pack coating resin container; or either the livestock nipple pack composition or the livestock composite nipple pack kit; wherein alginate is selected as the polysaccharide polyelectrolyte; the M/G ratio, which is the molar ratio ofβ-D mannuronic acid to theα-L guluronic acid constituting the alginate, is selected to be in a range of 0.4-0.7; and trehalose is preferably added as a non-reducing sugar.</p> |
