Disclosed is an injection device (1, 101) comprising a housing (2, 102), in which a receptacle (5) is disposed for a container with injection fluid. The injection device (1, 101) comprises an operating element (6, 106) for adjusting an injection dosage and a metering unit (16, 116), which is displaced relative to the housing (2, 102) when the injection dosage is adjusted. The metering unit (16, 116) comprises a zero position (85, 185) and at least one injection position (73, 173). In the zero position (85, 185), no dosage is set, and in every injection position (73, 173) a determined dosage of injection fluid is set. The injection device (1, 101) comprises a latching device (26, 126), which operates between two parts that are moved towards each other during adjustment of the injection dosage, wherein a latching position of the latching device (26, 126) is associated with each injection position (73, 173) of the metering unit (16, 116). The metering unit (16, 116) can be placed into at least one intermediate position (74, 174), in which no determined dosage of injection fluid is set. A spring (82, 182 operates between the metering unit (16, 116) and the housing (2, 102) and resets the metering unit (16, 116) from an intermediate position (74, 174) into an injection position (73, 173) or into the zero position (85, 185) when the operating element (6, 106) is not actuated. |
