PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light quantity adjusting device having high accuracy, high quality, and a high speed-reduction ratio, in considering these conditions.SOLUTION: A light quantity adjusting device 1 includes a base member 3 having an opening 3i, a driving source 2 having a rotary shaft having a first engagement part 4, a blade driving member 5 having a second engagement part 5j engaged with the first engagement part 4, fitted to the base member 3 rotatably in the circumferential direction of the opening 3i and having a plurality of first blade engagement parts 5a to 5h, and a plurality of light quantity adjusting blades 6 arranged around the circumference of the opening 3i and having a second blade engagement part 6b engaged with the first blade engagement parts 5a to 5h. The base member 3 includes a plurality of support parts 3a to 3h supporting the plurality of light quantity adjusting blades 6 and the second engagement part 5j is located outside a circle passing through the plurality of support parts 3a to 3h. |
