PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood glucose meter having both high functionality and simplicity that can flexibly respond to a patient's request by enabling a display method of a blood glucose level to be selected when performing blood glucose level measurement.SOLUTION: An input/output control unit 307 controls a display condition of a liquid crystal display 103, in accordance with a color setting and a face display setting stored in a various settings information memory 311. In the case of the color setting, the input/output control unit 307 compares a blood glucose level measured by the blood glucose level measurement unit 301 with a plurality of threshold levels to perform five-stage evaluation, and assigns evaluation results with five colors to display the color of the blood glucose level on the liquid crystal display 103. In the case of the face display setting, a face mark corresponding to the result of the five-stage evaluation is displayed on the liquid crystal display 103. |
