摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an electrode material which enables improvement of not only electron conductivity, but also lithium ion conductivity by controlling the specific surface area of a carbonaceous coating; an electrode; and a lithium ion battery.SOLUTION: An electrode material of the invention comprises aggregates of carbonaceous material-coated electrode active material particles covered with a carbonaceous coating at a coverage of 80% or more. The aggregates have a volume density of 50-80 vol.% to a volume density on the assumption that it is solid. The carbonaceous material-coated electrode active material particles include: first carbonaceous material-coated electrode active material particles having a specific surface area of the carbonaceous coating of 20-50 m/g; and second carbonaceous material-coated electrode active material particles having a specific surface area of the carbonaceous coating of 5-15 m/g. When a volume of aggregates of the first carbonaceous material-coated electrode active material particles is represented by M1, and a volume of the aggregates of the second carbonaceous material-coated electrode active material particles is represented by M2, a ratio of the volume M2 to the total volume of M1 and M2, M2/(M1+M2), is between 0.25 and 0.95 inclusive.
