PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle gateway unit capable of reducing a load on a user with a simple configuration when a device is added.SOLUTION: A vehicle gateway unit includes: a control section for controlling the whole vehicle gateway unit; a transfer processing section that receives a communication frame from a network and transfers the communication frame to a transfer destination network on the basis of a routing map registering route information where the transfer route of the communication frame is defined; and a storage section provided with a program storage area that stores a control program and a standard routing map registering route information corresponding to a state where a standard control unit group including a predetermined control unit is connected to the network and also provided with a data storage area that is provided independently from the program storage area and stores an extension routing map registering route information corresponding to a control unit not included in the standard control unit group when the control unit is connected to the network. |
