PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain stabilized pronunciation characteristics by ensuring a gap reliably between a vibrator and a fixed pole during use, in an electrostatic speaker that can be folded when not in use.SOLUTION: A vibrator 10 has elasticity. A fixed pole 20A is formed longer than the vibrator 10 in the tensile direction in a state where a tension is not imparted to the vibrator 10. A spacer 50 defines a gap between the vibrator 10 and the fixed pole 20A. During use of an electrostatic speaker 1A, a tension is imparted to the vibrator 10 and the fixed pole 20A is also pulled to bring about a flush state. Consequently, the gap of an air layer is formed between the vibrator 10 and the fixed pole 20A with an interval defined by the spacer uniformly in the plane. Since the gap is an air layer, stiffness of the vibrator 10 is reduced and thereby the minimum resonance frequency can be reduced, without reducing the Q value thereof more than necessary. Furthermore, a uniform gap is formed and contact of the vibrator 10 with the fixed pole 20A can be prevented, while generation of distortion sound is prevented.
|
