SOLUTION: A white balance setting value generating apparatus 105 comprises: imaging means 100; ratio calculation means 101 for calculating color ratios of an image captured by the imaging means 100; and generation means 104 for generating a correction value 103 for correcting the color of the image captured by the imaging means on the basis of the calculated color ratios and predetermined reference values 102. The generation means 104 takes out one WB setting value from the predetermined reference values 102, obtains the difference between the one WB setting value and a color ratio included in the color ratios calculated by the ratio calculation means 101 and corresponding to the one WB setting value, and shifts the predetermined reference values 102 by using the difference, to generate the correction value 103. !
