The method involves controlling or regulating the operation of the transmission (5) based on three states and based on the transition conditions between the states. A downshift in the transmission is prevented, when the third state is active, and is boosted, if required, at a maximum possible engine torque by an electric machine (2). An independent claim is included for a control device for a hybrid vehicle. |
