The method involves supplying electric power by an external power source (8). A first battery (2a) is charged by the electric power supplied by the external power source. Battery voltage of the first battery is increased continuously during the loading process. Charging of a second battery (2b) is started. Electric battery voltage of the first battery is not increased during charging and is decreased after reaching a maximum value based on completion of charging of the first battery and starting of charging of a second battery (2b). The first battery is a battery of a first electrical or a hybrid vehicle (3a). The second battery is a battery of a second electrical or a hybrid vehicle (3b). An independent claim is also included for a charger.
