<p>The invention relates to the automotive industry and specifically to the arrangement of elements of the body, interior space, components and equipment of a motor vehicle which has no fewer than four wheels, not located on the same line, and which is powered by means of one or a plurality of engine types and is normally used for the transportation on motorways of passengers and cargo. The automobile contains components and equipment which provide for the functioning thereof, as well as a body mounted on four wheels and being provided with seats for a driver and passengers. The automobile body is provided with only one doorway for driver and passenger access to the automobile, said doorway being provided in the rear wall of the automobile body, and a passageway is provided along the central longitudinal axis of the body to enable the driver and passengers to move from the doorway to the seats, which are installed to the sides of said passageway and behind the axis of the front wheels of the automobile. In addition, the automobile engine is situated to the side of said passageway under one or more of the seats. The invention allows for increasing the level of passive safety and rigidity of the automobile body in the areas where the driver and passenger seats are located while decreasing the overall length of the automobile relative to the number of seats by means of not providing the automobile body with doorways in the side walls thereof.</p> |
