The present invention relates to a secondary battery. The secondary battery includes an electrode assembly which includes a first electrode plate, a second electrode plate, and a separator which is interposed between them; a can which has one side where an opening part for inserting the electrode assembly is formed, and receives the electrode assembly inside; a cap plate which seals the opening part of the can; and a top plate which is formed on the cap plate. The top plate includes a first welding part and a second welding part which are combined with the cap plate; and a third welding part which is formed between the first welding part and the second welding part. The first welding part includes first to third welding points connected to the cap plate. The first to the third welding point have a triangular shape. |
